Malika Sadani’s story is a testament to the power of a mother’s love. Transitioning from a banker to a renowned businesswoman, Malika embarked on a journey to create skincare products for her daughter that would address her skin problems from the root. Despite the long and challenging path, Malika ultimately achieved remarkable success.
Early Life and Education
Malika completed her 12th grade in Kota, Rajasthan, and graduated in engineering from Pune. She then pursued an MBA from the Venglikar Institute of Management in Mumbai. Following her MBA, she worked as an assistant manager at ICICI Bank. In 2008, she married Mohit Sadani, who worked as a consultant at McKinsey.
A Mother’s Determination
After moving to London with her husband, Malika returned to India in 2012 with her eldest daughter, who was just one year old at the time. When she discovered her daughter’s skin problems, Malika had to order skincare products from London, relying on friends and relatives to send them. However, the Indian products available were ineffective, and Malika’s younger daughter, born with asthma, required products free from any fragrances that could aggravate her condition.
Determined to find a solution, Malika decided to create chemical-free products herself. She searched globally for scientists who could help her develop these special formulations. After two years of hard work and dedication, her efforts bore fruit.
Launching The Moms Co.
In 2016, Malika founded ‘Amishi Consumer Technologies,’ and in 2017, she launched the brand ‘The Moms Co.’ This brand offered completely natural products, and her husband Mohit supported her throughout the journey. What began as a necessity has grown into a multi-crore empire. In 2023, Good Glamm Group acquired 90% of The Moms Co., and in 2021, the company was valued at ₹500 crores when Good Glamm Group first invested in it.
Malika Sadani’s success has provided the country with a trusted skincare brand for children, cementing her place among India’s most successful businesswomen.
