Neosphere Arthritis Foundation organized a Walkathon on the occasion of World Arthritis Day in New Delhi

World Arthritis Day is a global awareness day that is held every year on 12 October to raise awareness about arthritis. On this occasion Neosphere Arthritis Foundation organized a Walkathon at Lodhi Garden, New Delhi to celebrate the high spirits of patients suffering from arthritis who are constantly fighting the battle against arthritis.  

Members of the Neosphere Arthritis Community enthusiastically participated in this event. Along with Walkathon, a yoga session, as well as a motivational talk session, was also organized during this event.

Mr. Manoj Krishnan (Founder, Neosphere Arthritis Foundation) extended gratitude to dignitaries Anita Chand (Author). Col. Ramendu Baruah, Dr. Vinita Narula (Former Vice Principal, Lady Irwin College), Dr. Bishakha Sarma, Manisha Amol, Bushra Alvi (Journalist), Ashok (Yoga Instructor), Vandana Bhasin (Editor, ALSphere), Neeti Parti (Educationist)), Ishrat Umar (Arthritis Warrior), Syed Mohd. Umar, Hrishikeshan Nair (Founder, GoodHealth Diagnostic), Mandira Ghosh (Author), and Mamta (Founder, Careaholic) for their valuable support. He also thanked and felicitated all the participants of the Walkathon.

Arthritis affects over 210 million people in India- prevalence higher than diseases such as diabetes, AIDS, and cancer.  Mr. Manoj Krishnan (Founder, Neosphere Arthritis Foundation) says “It is important to connect people with arthritis for combating pain and improving their quality of life. Our community offers expert tips, strategies, and supports to its members and endeavors to create a vibrant network of Arthritis patients, caregivers, doctors, and volunteers.”

The Neosphere Arthritis Foundation is an India-based support group that aims to spread awareness about arthritis to those suffering from this chronic ailment and their caregivers.
