How this small startup prospered into a global edtech

The Foundation of Careerera was laid in the year 2009, when the possibility of an on-line institution was at an incipient stage in India. Over the period of 12 years, Careerera has effectively reflected the journey of India’s online training landscape. The organization has arisen all throughout the entire developmental period, with the quickly changing climate, and has ascended to be the most favored online edtech. Careerera endeavors to convey an all-rounded quality learning experience, that not only improves rational expertise but also redesigns abilities that aid a learner in getting better career opportunities.

Careerera set the pace in imparting fast,  focused, and effective training. Its consistent learner-centric approaches improve practical knowledge and upgrade skills that lead to enhanced productivity for employers. The faculty is comprised of industry experts with decades of experience who believe in adopting transparent processes to deliver the best learning experience.

Maneuvering students for a better career has always been my passion. I felt that there is a need to introduce upskill programs to create industry-ready employees. Learners need to be trained in a way that can guide them to climb the global corporate ladder, says Vivek K Singh, Co-founder, and CEO, Careerera.

This made Vivek step into the world of online education in the year 2009. His journey started in India and today it has paved its way to more than 60 other countries across the globe. Within a decade, his ambitions and go-getter attitude has had helped his business expand by leaps and bounds. He has always been a hard-working entrepreneur who has never shirked away from any form of work – be it working in the field or convincing clients, he is ready to work 24X7.

The ups and downs during Covid-19

Covid-19 coerced businesses across the world to suffer. However, Careerera noticed exponential growth in the enrollments since more and more people are considering adding to their skill sets during the lockdowns and employment losses. Last year, Careerera hired 300 employees across the globe in order to pick up the pace that was missed due to the pandemic, and for this year the target to hire new employees is twice. All the courses are introduced keeping in mind the demands of the global job market.

  • Instructor-led live online sessions

  • Cutting edge methodology

Careerera believes that it is the only competitor it has. It aims to become an extraordinary and one of the most preferred virtual campuses imparting quality education to freshers and professionals across the globe.  It makes sure that its goals are perspicuous specific, quantifiable, and attainable.

Future plans

Realizing the barriers caused by languages in learning it is now going to introduce its courses in different languages so that more people will be able to avail upskill courses. Comprehension gets increased when learners can give their complete attention to the content in their native language, without needing to mentally translate the information into their first language. Training conducted in the native language of the learner could be understood more quickly and applied easily at work.

It is going to increase the number of courses and expand its geographical boundaries. Earlier it used to cover Tier I and Tier II cities in India but now the target will be Tier III and Tier IV cities.
