Indian Institute of Democratic Leadership (IIDL), a centre initiated by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP), held the convocation ceremony of its fifth batch of Post Graduate Programme in Leadership Politics and Governance on the occasion of Teachers Day (September 05) at RMP’s Knowledge Excellence Centre campus at Uttan, Bhayander.
Hon’ble Arif Mohammad Khan, Governor of Kerala was the Chief Guest for the ceremony. Dr Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, Vice Chairman, RMP presided over the ceremony. Also, present on this occasion on the Dias were Ravindra Sathe, Director General, RMP, and Devendra Pai, Course Director, IIDL.
“The quality of education is important, the sense of values that one has is more important than just the academic qualifications. The values inculcated by IIDL amongst its students where along with their leadership skills their quality of compassion is also inculcated which helps to play as a leader”, said Hon’ble Arif Mohammad Khan, Hon Governor of Kerala.
Dr Vinay Sahasrabuddhe stressed the point of developing leadership, as a science as developing good leaders is the need of the country.
Ravindra Sathe gave information about the IIDL course and informed how the students benefited from it and also he shared the future plans of IIDL. Two outgoing students – Yadam Bagang from Arunachal and Thirveen Sankar from Kerala shared their experience on how this course helped them to develop their overall personality and helped them move closer towards their goals.”
