Festival of India: A mesmerising experience of food, cultural programs, devotion and talented artists for the Delhiites

New Delhi, October 12, 2024: Amidst the festivities and Dussehra, Delhiites are immersed in the joy, excitement and loads of fun. Keeping their enthusiasm, and celebration mood on high, TV9 Festival of India at Major Dhyanchand Stadium is providing a great experience, entertainment, and fun environment for them via food, cultural programs, traditional Durga Puja, Aarti, Shopping and performances by talented artists.

Day 3 of the Festival of India concluded on an exciting note, as the Garba Night took centre stage. With a spectacular turnout of people dancing their hearts out. From the beats of traditional folk songs to Bollywood hits, the night was filled with energy and excitement. The Garba Night proved to be one of the highlights of the TV9 Festival of India 2024, drawing people of all ages to join in the celebration.

As for the last three days of the festival, memorable glimpses of devotion and celebration were on high on the fourth day. The day was filled with culinary delicacies from across India, Maha Ashtami, Spiritual Rituals, Garba Night, Songs, Music, and Dance Performances to which Delhiites were seen grooving and enjoying it to the fullest.

Day 4 of the TV9 Festival of India saw a visit by prominent guests including; MPs Mahesh Sharma, Manoj Tiwari, Congress leader Pawan Khera, AAP leader Sanjay Singh, Union Minister and National President of Apna Dal (S) Anupriya Patel along with her husband Ashish Patel, Cabinet Minister in the Yogi Govt. they worshiped Maa Durga and took the blessings.

The day started with Navami Puja, followed by Pushpanjali and Bhog offerings. A havan for good wishes, Chandi Paath and distribution of Prasad were also performed. In the evening Sandhya Aarti was performed. Amidst all these, the day was made special for the children. Various activities were designed for the children, from drawing to dance to fancy dress were prepared. Anand Mela was also organized. The festival is a fair where Indian culture, Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb and unity in diversity are being served on a platter.

Delhiites were seen immersed in devotion, the excitement of the colorful program is a proof of its completeness. From children to the elderly, everyone is participating in the festival with great enthusiasm.

Talking about food, one can enjoy Punjabi food, Litti Chokha from Bihar, Kabab from Lucknow, Pav Bhaji from Maharashtra, and Rajasthani dishes. Along with this, Chinese food is also available along with Delhi’s Gol Gappa and Chaat. For a unique shopping experience, more than 250 stalls from India and abroad have been set up in the festival, where you can easily shop for different products.

The festival will conclude on October 13 on the occasion of Vijayadashmi with Sindoor Khela and Devi Puja.
