Let’s begin by exploring your role as the Director of Sainath Developers. How has your journey been in steering a family business with such a rich history in the real estate sector?
Pratik Kataria: It’s been an incredible journey, working alongside my brother Kunal to carry forward our family legacy. Sainath Developers has a three-decade-long history of serving families in the real estate market, and it’s a privilege to contribute to its growth and evolution.
As a committee member of NAREDCO Maharashtra, you hold a significant position within the real estate domain. Could you share your perspective on the role of organizations like NAREDCO in shaping the real estate landscape?
Pratik Kataria: Certainly. NAREDCO plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the government and the real estate sector. It provides a platform for discussions, policy formulation, and addressing industry challenges. Being a part of NAREDCO has allowed me to contribute to policy decisions and initiatives aimed at fostering growth and sustainability in the sector.
Beyond real estate, you’re involved in diverse ventures, including being an Angel Investor and a partner at The Laughter Chapter Café. How do these varied interests contribute to your entrepreneurial journey?
Pratik Kataria: Diversification is key in today’s dynamic business landscape. Investing in startups allows me to explore new avenues and gain insights into different industries. Similarly, ventures like The Laughter Chapter Café cater to a different audience, providing valuable experiences that complement my overall entrepreneurial journey.
Your academic achievements are impressive. How has your educational background influenced your approach to business and entrepreneurship?
Pratik Kataria: Education has been pivotal in shaping my entrepreneurial mindset. Both my management diploma and master’s degree provided me with essential skills and knowledge. My on-campus business venture at FLAME School of Business was particularly instrumental in honing my entrepreneurial abilities.
Your passion for social causes, particularly ‘Girl Child Education,’ is commendable. Could you share more about this initiative and its significance to you?
Pratik Kataria: ‘Girl Child Education’ holds a special place in my heart. I strongly believe in empowering girls through education. My aim is to educate at least 10 girls fully, creating a ripple effect that impacts their entire ecosystem. Educated women can transform societies, and this initiative reflects my commitment to creating a positive change.
Lastly, could you elaborate on your concept of “Ecstatic Circles” and how it aligns with your purpose in life?
Pratik Kataria: “Ecstatic Circles” represent the profound impact education can have in transforming lives. If we invest in educating individuals, especially girls, we create a cycle of empowerment and progress that extends far beyond individuals. It’s my belief that by educating even a few, we can contribute to a larger transformation in society.
