New Delhi, 13th January 2022: We have often seen men and women playing main transgender characters, whether it was a movie like ‘Shabnam mausi’, ‘Tamanna’ and recently Vaani Kapoor was seen playing a transgender in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, But we haven’t seen transgender playing the character of a cisgender woman ever. It’s time to create history.
Bollywood director and actor Vipin k Sethie is all set to launch a transgender supermodel in his next project, ” REVENGE”, starring Naaz Joshi, India’s first international trans beauty queen, as his main lead. First time ever in India we shall witness this change in Bollywood. Transsexual women will be no longer subject to laughter and the movie shall set an example that trans women have the capacity to carry the movie alone on their shoulders, He spotted Naaz Joshi is one of the leading newspapers in the country, and decided to cast her for the film. She will now undergo acting workshops, dance classes, and martial art training. She says that she is taking this challenge not just for herself but also for her trans sisters.

Naaz Joshi says her character in the movie is Sameera a cis woman who is newly married to the love of her life, rest of what happens is you shall see in the film. With this film, the makers wish to give a message to other directors who take cis people to do the trans roles that if given trans women the right grooming and workshop they can even leave cis actors behind.
